Which plan should I get started with?
The simplest and the easiest way to get started is with the regular Cloud option. In case you need additional features such as the Network Operations Center, alerting, invoice support etc, then go for Cloud Plus. For a full list of feature comparisons, refer to the table above.
Can I upgrade or downgrade at any moment?
You can upgrade at any time. Downgrading to a lower plan may require additional action if your network is using more devices, applications or gateways than allowed for the lower plan.
What type of payment methods can I use?
Credit card is the primary payment method. Invoice support is available for customers who select Cloud Plus tier.
Do you offer a trial on Cloud or Cloud Plus?

Is support included in these plans?
Value added support is not included in the plans, however you can add the plan which suits you best from subscription management.
What’s the difference between Community and Discovery?
Community network (a.k.a) The Things Network is for personal, hobby use. There is no SLA, uptime or support available while Discovery Tier is more suitable for startups, small businesses looking to start small for their commercial use case. With discovery tier, you can continue to scale in the future without having to change or update any settings for your install base.
Can I also host The Things Stack myself?
Yes, you can also host The Things Stack on your own i.e. on private cloud/VM. This is made available under The Things Stack Enterprise. We currently offer 2 main distributions - Docker images and ECS templates (for Amazon customers). For more information, please select the Enterprise tab from the top.
