About Gateway Remote Management

Gateway Remote Management lets you provision, configure and update gateways from The Things Stack, without physical access to the hardware. Managed gateways such as The Things Indoor Gateway Pro connect and configure themselves through zero-touch provisioning, so a new gateway is ready as soon as it is powered on.

Configuration and updates at scale

Change frequency plans, server addresses and credentials remotely, and roll out configuration updates to individual gateways or whole fleets. For LoRa Basics™ Station gateways, The Things Stack supports the Configuration and Update Server (CUPS) protocol to keep gateways up to date.
