About Federated Identity & SSO

Federated Identity lets your team sign in to The Things Stack with the accounts they already use. The Things Stack supports OpenID Connect (OIDC), so you can connect identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID, Google or Amazon Cognito. It is available on The Things Stack Cloud and Enterprise.

Central user management

When users sign in through your identity provider, onboarding and offboarding follow your existing processes. Password policies and multi-factor authentication are enforced by your provider, and access can be removed in one place when someone leaves.
